Davin Benner, P.E.

Davin is the President and founding partner of Granite Basin Engineering, Inc. He served in the United States Army, Berlin Brigade, E320th Field Artillery from 1991-1994 before graduating from Northern Arizona University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He has worked as a surveyor and consulting civil engineer since 1998. His experience involves all aspects of civil engineering and surveying including business development, client communications, technical writing, site planning, master planning, plan production, design reports, code review, submittal coordination, topographic and boundary surveying, construction staking and construction administration.

Ben Huza, P.E.

Ben is a 2002 graduate of Northern Arizona University and the Vice-President and co-founder of Granite Basin Engineering, Inc. He has worked in civil engineering and construction industry since 1996. His experience involves all aspects of civil engineering including grading and drainage design, hydrologic and hydraulic drainage studies, floodplain and floodway delineations, water and sewer system design, pump station design, roadway design, construction inspection and administration, and GIS data management and analysis.  He also has experience in the construction industry, which has allowed him to develop a practical outlook for engineering design and constructability.

Thomas Liuzzo, R.L.S.

Tom has been active in the survey and engineering industry since 1988.  He is licensed in both Arizona and Nevada.  In addition to his background as a Land Surveyor, he has been involved with numerous public utility and infrastructure improvement projects throughout the state as a part of planning and design teams.  His involvement with both private and public projects has allowed him to develop numerous resources that are of value to any project.  He has an understanding of all aspects of improvement projects, including funding, planning, design, construction and administration.  Tom’s construction background has helped him achieve NICET level III Construction Certification. He has personally managed construction projects that have been valued over $10 Million dollars as well as been principal surveyor on projects valued well over $100 million dollars.  Recently, he has been actively involved in the Alternative Energy Market by performing Exploration and Planning Surveys for Wind and Solar Projects throughout Arizona.
